Steve & Kiri,  both hailing from New Zealand, are in their second year living in the far-flung paradise of Greystoke Mahale.  They both love water, previous jobs have included working on cruise ships, and so having Lake Tanganyika literally at their feet is a serious benefit and makes them very happy. We wonder if they actually have webbed feet, with the amount of time they spend on or in it.

They're experienced bush folk though, having worked for Norman Carr Safaris in Zambia for two years, and another Zambian safari lodge prior to that.  As well, Steve honed his fishing skills at the exclusive New Zealand fly fishing lodge Tongariro on the Tongariro River. Kiri spent a number of years working in the travel and hospitality industry and Greystoke's unbelievably delicious lunches and dinners are assured in her very capable hands.  Steve's evening cocktails, served in the Greystoke bar on the rocks, are becoming legendary.
