Halifa Suleiman
Halifa was born and brought up on Kilimanjaro, a member of the Pare tribe of that region. WIth one of Tanzania's main guiding schools not far from him, it was no wonder he had a keen interest in learning more about the bush.
He did his time working a driver/guide for various Tanzanian safari companies, slowly building up his knowledge and ambitions before coming to Nomad in 2001. He's since been all over, spending considerable time in both the Selous and the Northern Serengeti. Don't let his young looks full you, he is actually older than he looks, his knowledge of all things 'wild' is seriously impressive.
