Kerrie Condon, Sales
Kerrie’s first job with Nomad Tanzania was managing the remote and wonderful Greystoke Mahale. Together with her husband Jeff they cohabitated with wild chimpanzees and a pet Pelican ‘Big Bird’. Africa is home for Kerrie, her father was born on a dairy farm in the Southern Highlands of Tanzania. Her earliest childhood memories involved driving around Ruaha National Park with her family in a beat up old Land Rover.
At the age of 25 after studying Tourism Management at University in Leeds she went on to own a hotel in France. It wasn’t easy as she didn’t speak a word of French...but she had to learn quickly! Inevitably, the pull for her to return to Africa was too strong and she eventually returned to help run the family safari company and camp.
In one of those weird and wonderful twists of fate, it was during her time at the family camp that she met Jeff, who was riding through Africa on his motorcycle. From the time that they met, they spent every moment they could exploring Tanzania and Africa with their own vehicle and rooftop tent. Now settled in Perth, Western Australia, Kerrie is doing a fantastic job of supporting our Australian and Far East partners, keeping that connection with Tanzania strong and we are delighted to have her back as part of the family.
