GETTING AROUND TANZANIA

All our safari camps are reachable by light aircraft, and in some cases, also by safari vehicle.

Our flights to our western camps - Greystoke Mahale and Chada Katavi - operate on Monday's and Thursday's only - leaving from Arusha early in the morning, and routing via Katavi then Mahale, before returning to Arusha early evening. A Monday departure will give you 3 nights in either camp, and a Thursday departure will give you 4 nights in either camp. Whilst all flights originate and end back in Arusha, pick ups and drop offs in the nothern parks can also be arranged.

Serengeti Safari Camp and Nduara Loliondo are in different locations throughout the year, but are easily accessible by scheduled flights or private charter from either Arusha, Dar es Salaam, Selous or Zanzibar, and sometimes by vehicle. Nomad Tarangire, is reachable by air, or by vehicle.

Sand Rivers Selous and Kiba Point are only reachable by air, from either Arusha, Dar es Salaam or Zanzibar.

Sounds complicated? Your tour operator can help you plan all this, and much more. If in doubt of anyone in your area, please contact us on info@nomad.co.tz, and we will put you in touch with specialist Africa tour operators who can help you.
