The Nomad camp blogs continue to keep us all, here at HQ, enthralled with their stories of life in the bush. Our camp managers certainly do us proud with their telling of what they see on a daily basis. Always interesting, sometimes disturbing and with great images to boot, we regularly start our day with them!

At Greystoke Mahale it looks like Alofu is stil hanging on to his tenuous Alpha Male position, but Primus still waits close by in the shadows. Since Pimu's murder in early October, guests at Greystoke have witnessed, first hand, the jockying for position amongst the higher-ranked males. 2012 certainly looks like it'll be an interesting year for the M-Group.

Chada Katavi gave us much to think about when they found an elephant shot 15 times by poachers; its something that tragically happens somewhere in the bush all too regularly, but must not be ignored. Please read the post by our manager, Mark Vibbert.

Sand Rivers Selous has had fabulous wild dog sightings , as has Kiba Point where camp manager Matt also witnessed them on the hunt. Lamai Serengeti looks out daily over spectacular views with lions and plains game everywhere!.

Our wonderful Serengeti Guides send in their regular migration reports so you can always find out the whereabouts of the wildebeest. And in early January, the Nomad Trust started to feature here with regular posts detailing the fascinating projects it is involved in, with thanks to Trust administrator Lali Heath.
