Exceeded Our Expectations

Kuro Tarangire was the first Nomad stop on our family's two-week tour of Tanzania's Northern Circuit. The camp is located far into the park and is in a beautiful and isolated spot. The camp structures blend seamlessly with the natural surroundings, and it was a real treat to watch the wildlife in close proximity to the camp. The hospitality at Kuro was exceptional. Every single employee was kind, courteous, conscientious of my son's severe nut allergy, and generally went above and beyond to ensure that we had a pleasant stay. We especially enjoyed that the camp manager, Joe, sat with us around the fire for before dinner drinks and then joined us at the table on the first night. We had wonderful conversation about the camp, the park, the local culture, etc. and it never once felt forced or uncomfortable. It felt like catching up with an old friend. Overall, I highly recommend all 3 of the Nomad Camps that we used on this trip (Kuro, Entamanu, and Serengeti Safari Camp), but Kuro stood out. There is something very special about this place.
