Mkombe’s House at Lamai is a special place!

We stayed at Mkombe's House at Lamai Serengeti and loved our stay! The house is an incredible setting that felt like our own private oasis inside the Serengeti. When we arrived, there were thousands of wildebeest surrounding the house which added to the experience. Not sure how big the house is, but it was more than enough for our family of four. We could have had another 6 people in the house without feeling cramped at all. Lots of hang out space and good food choices as well. The proximity of this house to all of the wildlife is the best part. We saw 3 separate river crossings, 3 leopards, countless lions and herds of elephants. The best part was hearing the lions roar in the middle of the night. Truly a memorable experience that will not disappoint
