VERY sad to leave!

Lamai Serengeti was the fourth and final of our Nomad Tanzania properties that we visited. I’m sure my son got sick of me saying “Wow!” This is a gorgeous, gorgeous property, with such beautiful decor, wonderful staff, fabulous common areas, and absolutely incredible views. Our room, perched way up on the hillside, with beanbags and clifftop viewing rock had to be seen to be believed. Nomad Tanzania look after you so well from the moment they meet you at the airstrip, until they wave you goodbye as your little plane takes off again at the end of your stay. We felt safe, welcome, valued, and no request, it seems, will be too much trouble. Our guide was brilliant and so knowledgeable, (and I’m sorry I can’t remember his name.) The wildlife viewing was fantastic, and the scenery, especially down by the Mara River, was awesome. The drinks by the river with the hippos wallowing RIGHT THERE as the sun went down was a magical moment my son and I will remember forever, on our very last night in the Serengeti. We were very very sad to leave.
