Ali Kea

Ali is one of Nomad's many success stories. He was born near Arusha, and joined us back in 1999, then a young man with no guiding experience but a real passion for being in the bush. He's grown up alongside the company, it really feels like that; he's been with us a long time and knows all our camps and areas, and is such a familiar and welcome face with his affable personality and ready laughter. Now he's one of our most senior - and experienced - Northern Guides, traveling all over. 

Ali loves all of Tanzania's wild places, but Mahale and the chimps are particularly close to his heart, attracted as he is to the remoteness of the area. He has many a tale of elephant antics and bucket showers, humourous tales from our past which we love to remember; he is bound to put a smile on your face and keep it there.
