Tungamalenga Village
Tungamalenga is a village located on the outskirts of Ruaha National Park. We support the local schools and clinic with basic educational and medical supplies, as well as outreach programs. We take village children on safari, using these school safaris as a way to help foster a love for wildlife among kids from villages that are typically in conflict with wild animals. We partner with local leaders and health workers to identify children with surgically correctable disabilities, and help them get to The Plaster House in Arusha for treatment. We also support the clinic with medicines and mosquito nets.
If you're coming on safari with us at Kigelia Ruaha and would like to support the village school and clinic with supplies, or sponsor a Watoto go Wild day in Ruaha, please get in touch.
