Bernadette

Bernadette (Bernie) joined Nomad ten years ago joining Sand Rivers Selous as a chef. Very quickly Bernie revealed her culinary talents, and was promoted to Head Chef in 2014. It is in this role that Bernie shone as she took the food experience in the south to new delights. After seven years as head chef, Bernie took the opportunity to move out from the heat of the kitchen and see the world from the other side - gaining experience as front of house manager. Loved by all guests that meet her, Bernie has such a sweet, calm and open nature. Bernie is wonderful addition to the management team at Sand Rivers with her attention to detail and love for the little details that make camp feel like home away from home.

Bernie has recently been promoted once more to Sand Rivers Selous camp manager and we are so proud of her. Bernie is wonderful role model to all and she has worked hard to get there.
