About These Terms

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of this website (the “Website”) operated by Nomad Tanzania Ltd (“Nomad”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

By accessing or using the Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Website.

These Terms constitute a valid and binding electronic contract between you and Nomad, recognised as such under the Electronic Transactions Act (Cap. 442). Where the Website enables online bookings or payments, the same recognition of electronic communications and signatures applies to those transactions.

These Terms should be read alongside the following information which govern how we collect and use personal data:

 

Minimum Age

You must be at least 18 years old or accessing the Website under the supervision of a parent or guardian, to use the Website. Bookings made through the Website may only be made by persons aged 18 or over.

 

Ownership of Website Content

Unless otherwise stated, all content on this Website (collectively, the “Content”), including:

  • Text, itineraries, marketing materials and descriptions;
  • Photographs, videos, and visual media;
  • Branding, logos and design;
  • Graphics, maps, and downloadable materials;

is owned by, or licensed to, Nomad and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

No rights are granted to you other than those expressly set out in these Terms.

Content published on the Website is maintained in accordance with the Electronic and Postal Communications (Online Content) Regulations.

 

Permitted Use of Content

You may:

  • View pages for personal, non-commercial use;
  • Download or print limited extracts for personal reference.

 

Provided that you:

  • Do not modify the Content;
  • Retain all copyright and proprietary notices; and
  • Do not represent the Content as your own.

You must not, without prior written consent from Nomad:

  • Reproduce, distribute, publish or commercially exploit any Content;
  • Use Content to promote third-party products, services, or destinations;
  • Scrape, copy, or extract data from the Website using automated means;

All trademarks, logos, and brand elements displayed on the Website are the property of Nomad Tanzania Ltd or its licensors.  You must not:

  • Use any trademark without prior written consent;
  • Use any confusingly similar marks;
  • Imply any endorsement or affiliation with Nomad.

The Website may include links to third-party websites. Nomad:

  • Does not control such websites;
  • Is not responsible for their content, accuracy, or privacy practices.

Access to third-party sites is at your own risk.

We aim to keep the Website available and up to date but do not guarantee that:

For the avoidance of doubt, this clause governs use of the Website only. Liability arising from safari bookings, camp stays, and related travel arrangements is governed exclusively by Nomad's separate Booking Terms and Conditions.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Tanzania.

Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Tanzania, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection laws.

Unless the parties agree otherwise in writing, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tanzania. Nothing in this clause limits any right you may have under the Fair Competition Act, Cap. 285.
