Prim
Expeditionary Walking Camp, Mobile camp, Southern Tanzania

Prim was born in Moshi town on the slopes of Kilimanjaro where he grew up, before his family moved to Mwanza. He started taking a keen interested in nature aged seven when he had a pet vervet monkey at his home in Mwanza. He even had a pet snake for a while. From then on his love for animals and nature was solidified.
After finishing secondary school Prim joined the wildlife college and completed his Field Guides Association of Southern Africa qualification plus many other wildlife courses.
Prim has been in the safari industry for over fifteen years, with many of those spent specialising in walking safaris in the vast Serengeti. Prim joined the Nomad team as Chada camp manager but with his specialist walking experience he now heads up our Expeditionary Walking Camp in Ugalla and the Serengeti.
Prim's love for walking and birdwatching means he is one of the best walking guides in the company. With all Prim's time in the bush and forays into the wilderness he certainly has some tales to tell around the campfire.
