Rajabu Mbillu

Rajabu hails from Arusha in northern Tanzania and started out with Nomad as one of the chefs in our Serengeti Safari Camp. Since then, he has enjoyed working in our mobile camps and in our permanent camp in the northern Serengeti - Lamai - where he was a chef and then a transfer driver, before going back to Serengeti Safari Camp to become a manager.

His goal was always to be a safari guide and so we invited him to join our annual Nomad guide training and he is now a full-time guide based out of Kuro Tarangire. Rajabu has a real love for the wide-open spaces of the bush and enjoys nothing more than an evening of camp tales around the fire alongside guests from all over the world.
