Sometimes it's no more complicated than filling an empty stomach.

Across remote Tanzania many children have a long walk to school on a daily basis and sometimes up to 8km each way, making concentration in class difficult. Our meal-a-day programme is a simple intervention that provides a cup of porridge for each child aloowing them to make the most of their school day.

How it works

Using our camps as a base, we use our logistical network to support remote schools.

Life long learning & growth

Investing in education

Education is the foundation to success

Our mission is simple: we look for ways to make a difference, sometimes it's no more complicated than filling an empty stomach. Our meal-a-day programme feeds over 600 children across seven schools.

This internship between Nomad and the Hope Centre is very good, it is helping these girls stand for themselves.
