Friday 4th September

Guide Emmanuel found this one up on the kopjes at Lamai this week. A lioness sitting high on the rock, watching the plains, while a storm came in behind her. A beautiful image!

Thursday 13th April

A wonderful sighting of a cheetah up on a termite mound. Beautifully captured in Tarangire NP by Nomad guide Godwin.

An evening game drive in Tarangire whilst staying at Kuro: a young elephant trying to push us out of the way, followed by this leopard watching quietly from the branches. 

22nd July 2026, Ngorongoro Crater

Sent in by LeParsae from Ngorongoro, where this elephant made it quite clear who had right of way. A wonderfully close encounter as he wandered steadily along the road.

21st July 2026, Lion Courtship in Ruaha

Sent in from an evening drive at the Mwangusi–Ruaha River confluence, where the Kigelia team came across this mating pair.
