Fantastic Camp

Fantastic camp - hardly any other travelers and varied, game filled terrain. Many many elephants! And all the great staff, guides and food you expect from Nomad!

Perfect Place, Friendly People

It was a perfect place to be, we loved it very much. The friendly people, the whiskey, the crispy bacon and the food was perfect! We enjoyed it very very much.

My son & I went to Tanzania to embrace a new culture with beautiful people, great food and of course, the majestic animals. Nomad in Kigelia, Ruaha was without a doubt a spiritual retreat provided by an extraordinary staff who will cater to your every need. Our guide Julius taught us so much about what we saw (and heard). He knew just where to find all the animals we wanted to see the most.
Safe? Well 7 men came running to my tent when I screamed over a lizard! Haha! That’s how safe it is!
We will never forget this trip of a lifetime!

Top Notch Guides

We loved the accommodations at this camp : neat, tidy, and everything one needs. The sky bed was a surprise and well appreciate . The knowledge of the guides was top notch.

Surreal Kigelia Experience

The whole experience at Kigelia was surreal. From being on drives surrounded by wildlife, to the tranquil haven of the camp with its impeccable service and then the immersion of being in the naturally elegant and luxuriously simple camp with the surrounding wildlife was extraordinary.

Kigelia is an outstanding camp and very rustic, charming and relaxing.
