Unique, Old Fashioned Safari

Kigelia is a rather unique, old fashioned exclusive and genuine safari away from the crowds. Very special even for the experienced safari traveller. Enjoy wildlife amongst a sea of mighty baobabs, and spoiled by the always fantastic Nomad crew.

Amazing Stay at Kigelia

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Kigelia. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly and his wildlife spotting skills were second to none. The tented accommodation was perfect, the food excellent and all the staff could not have been more helpful and cheerful.

Kigelia is a very special and intimate place in the heart of the bush. Everyone was wonderful and made our experience unique and tailored to our tastes. Ken, Good Luck, Raphael, Pender, Joseph, Nico & team we're all so great! Joseph always put a smile on our faces for dinner and we learned so much from Raphael during our drives. We made sure to shake Good Luck's hand before every drive and he certainly brought us good luck! We saw 3 different leopards, 13 lions and even wild dogs during our stay!
Eating breakfast outside and seeing a leopard jump down from the tree to take a drink was a thrilling highlight. It was spectacular to have that moment to ourselves! Eating delicious meals outside with the fire and sounds of the bush is a memory we will never forget. Thank you for making our experience unforgettable.
