Sand Rivers Selous is such a magical place and where we spent part of our honeymoon to Tanzania. Being close the wildlife and river so that even when we were at “home” relaxing we could be up close and personal with the Nyerere park beauty. Every activity was so special and e couldn’t even pick a. Favorite. Pi was one of the most knowledgeable guides we have ever had and we leaned a lot from him. Fishing was exciting and the meals were each delicious and so well thought out. If we ever get the opportunity, we would love to come back again.

Sand Rivers, Nyerere is a wonderful camp with glorious views of the River. Bernadette and the team make you extremely welcome and go out of their way to ensure that you have a memorable stay. Meals are delicious and very well presented. There is a large amount of game to be seen in the surrounding area and the river is an added bonus with boat trips available and fishing. Our guide was excellent and we enjoyed drinks in the bush and a bush breakfast. We were sad to leave.

Such a magical experience. I have been on safari before and traveled a lot (both on a budget and luxury) - this was truly extraordinary and magical and the best by a considerable margin.

Sand River by Nomad in Nyerere is the best kept secret. It has a stunning location, brilliant guides, excellent drivers and super warm and friendly staff. Game viewing is very rewarding and varied with land & water based safaris. It can be a very complete safari for 4-5 days! It’s a bit off-beat tho...

Great Nomad Experience

Really great as you would expect from. nomad! We were sorry we could not get into the Serengeti camp. I liked the old logo though
