If you’ve ever dreamt of going on a Tanzania safari don’t wait, there’s nothing like the Nomad experience. We were taken care of from sun up to sun down. Nothing like the Serena Lodge at the crater (stay away, that’s a tourist trap) Kuro, Tarangire is the real deal. With real people, with genuine smiles, that you could clearly tell how much they love what they do. They even have elephants dining in their vast backyard while you are enjoying your dinner. Can’t beat this adventure ever! It was like a family gathering every night we returned from our safari we were welcomed with a cocktail, smiles and questions of who saw what that day. This experience made our trip memorable!

This lodge was the diamond in the rough. We couldn’t have asked for anything better for staff to accommodations to the luxury living and not to forget the exceptional meals.

Delightful Time at Kuro

We had a delightful time at Kuro. The camp is well led and the Kuro family (team) warm and welcoming. The food surpassed expectations and the seting within Tarangire is excellent with wildlife on the doorstep.

Don’t hesitate to book! We celebrated my 50th birthday and camp Kuro was an amazing experience! The tent accommodation is really nice the bed was comfortable and sheets and blankets very plush! Showers were warm I don’t know how they do it!!! Loved the delivery of fresh brewed coffee with a wake up knock at our tent in the morning and hot chocolate for our kids! The food was excellent and we loved each meal and my teenage kids liked the food as well. Eating under the stars and going on night time safaris was really fun! The sunsets and sunrise safari drives were amazing! You won’t believe all the animals you will see up close! Our guide Silva was the best, we had him for 5 days and he was so knowledgeable and so fun! We really were sad to say goodbye! Definitely do a bush walk it was incredible!!! We felt completely spoiled by all the staff we had a wonderful stay here. My family thinks our Tanzania safari trip has been the best we have ever been on!
