Having stayed at a number of other camps prior to arrival in Northern Serengetti, I can confidently state that Lemai is in a whole other league of it's own. From the warm welcome to the stunning rooms, the incredible vistas from our balcony, the delicious food (only complaint - too much!), the brilliant staff and the overall facilities and attention, I cannot recommend this place highly enough

We had an incredible experience during our stay at Nomad Lamai camp. The game drives with our guide were so much fun and he taught us a lot about the wildlife, culture and the beautiful ecosystem. We appreciated how Nomad focuses on hiring staff locally, working with the local communities and sourcing food locally.
Our lodge had the best view overlooking the Serengeti National Park. We loved how we were surrounded by the wildlife. Every meal was well thought out, fresh and prepared to perfection. The entire staff was very nice and hospitable. We definitely want to come back to visit and we miss the Lamai family already!

Spectacular Game Sighting

Lamai is a perfect mix of roughing it in a tent camp but with 3 walls and amenities. The game sighting is spectacular. We saw lions, cheetahs & leopards. Our guide Yasin has incredible patience as he was willing to wait 4 hours so we could catch a crossing. Of course we had a breakfast picnic break ...

Lamai is a perfect mix of roughing it in a tent camp but with 3 walls and amenities. The game sighting is spectacular. We saw lions, cheetahs & leopards. Our guide Yasin has incredible patience as he was willing to wait 4 hours so we could catch a crossing. Of course we had a breakfast picnic break and our timing was perfect. My husband is disabled and was unable to walk to the common areas for meals so Samuel our butler brought it to him. The manager Laurence was very helpful and no request was too much.
