We loved our stay in Sand Rivers - we are extremely well travelled and know game lodges (we are from South Africa), and this is the best we have stayed in … views, food, service, variety of activities - apart from game drives, river boat outings, walking safari and night drives (where we saw leopard, hyenas and civet!). We were there out of season but saw a lot of wildlife … as good as Ruaha. Most of all we were blown away by the caring and flexible service from Sarah and her team, and our amazing guide Ernest.

Gorgeous Lodge with Views

One of the best places we’ve ever stayed at. It’s a gorgeous lodge with great views, really nice rooms, and a wonderful staff.
