Sand Rivers Selous - magical
My trip was really wonderful and we had a superb time at Sand Rivers.
I loved the setting, the website really does not do it justice and it is impossible to reflect the natural beauty and serenity!
We had a lovely guide called Lazarus who was really fantastic and it was a total pleasure being in his company. He was very knowledgeable and made game drives diverse and rewarding. We failed to see any lion which was a shame but they were in camp one night!
It was great to spend time with Mark and Chloe in the evenings. They were a wonderfully hospitable couple, both making our stay utterly perfect.
All in all it was just magical. I think the only negative remark would be that the monkeys seem to be running havoc in the communal bar/restaurant area! We were having tea and one stole the entire milk tart (which was mighty tasty might I add). There was also a bush baby which in the evening tried to pinch some canapés. It’s a minor issue and hardly worth mentioning as it was quite entertaining.
Thanks so much.

(Sand Rivers camp managers added: yes, the monkeys can be pesky guests and we've arranged for more staff to be present in the mess at mealtimes to encourage them to stay away)
