Kate and Will may have honeymooned in the Seychelles, but their matrimony really began when Will proposed in Africa. Inspired by the couple's attachment to the continent, we fell in love with a honeymoon opportunity from Black Tomato and Nomad Tanzania, one of Africa's renowned original safari companies.

The nine-night trip begins with three nights at Sand Rivers Selous overlooking the mile-wide Rufiji River, followed by three nights at the Serengeti Safari Camp. Because of weather and migration patterns, now is the time to experience Tanzania's wildlife, which you'll see close up in the Serengeti National Park and surrounding areas with a private vehicle tour.

The last three nights of the trip are spent on white sandy beaches at Greystoke Mahale, nestled on the shores of Lake Tanganyika at the foot of the Mahale Mountains. Just imagine enjoying a bottle of champagne next to a waterfall set among the lush mountains. Um...actually, on second thoughts, we're gonna go on this trip instead...-Phillip B.Crook
